PLATE 13Giants in the NightChapter I · The Night Sky
"On the clearest of nights when the winds of the Etherium are calm and peaceful..." a photographer's thoughts turn to the Milky Way and dormant wind turbines. Such thoughts can sometimes turn into an interesting picture. Here I found a spot on the flat ground in front of one giant that was indeed dormant, while that giant of of our galaxy silently, beautifully, inexorably made its way across the night sky. My feet went numb long before the core lined up the way I wanted, but that is the going rate for a night like this.
