We put this youngster back in his stick nest after his banding, and the second I raised the camera he threw both wings wide and told me exactly what he thought of the experience. He couldn't really fly yet, but nobody had bothered to tell him that. I stayed low, made a few frames, and left him to rehearse being fierce.
