I came out for the still water and figured the storm building to the west would run me off before the light got good. Instead it stalled over the far hills and let its rain down just as the sun slipped out of the clouds, and the whole shower went the color of a hot coal. I kept my footing on the wet rocks and stayed until it faded, glad I hadn't packed up early.
