I walked out to the rim in the flat part of the day, which is not usually when I work, but the clouds were doing enough to earn their keep. From up top the river looks like water that couldn't quite decide which way to leave, so it went almost all the way around instead. I kept a respectful distance from the edge and let the wide lens do all the work.
