The rain caught us on the rim and right as it let up the low sun found a gap and dropped this rainbow straight into the canyon below. I've stood at this overlook more than a few times and never once had the light and the rain agree like that. You sit through a lot of weather for the one minute that makes the whole trip worth it. Even still I was lucky to get this shot: most of us there this day were just caught up in the moment - watching in awe.
