I got here in the dark and set up under the arch while the canyon below was still just shapes. For about ten minutes at sunrise the light bounces off the floor and up onto the underside of the stone, and the whole ceiling goes molten while the sky stays cold and blue and the snowy peaks sit far off, still asleep. You don't really earn light like this. You just show up early and hope it decides to happen.
