The sun found the top of the ridge and the lake handed that warm light right back, doubled, before the rest of the slope woke up. Mornings this still are the whole reason I keep dragging myself out in the dark. And yet even with the beauty of the shot I look at it wanting more: more sky, more shore, more mountain. And more time to relive this incredible moment.
