I came out for the first color of the day and the water was kind enough to hold still for it. The far tree-topped ridge went to a flat black cutout while the pinks and that low band of gold settled down into the surface. I walked away with two skies for the price of one cold morning on the bank, a cost well worth the sleep I lost getting up so early.
